Any of you freaks awake?
:P

It's 4:20 am EST...are you all schweeping soundly? It's 10:20 am here...my illness seems to have abated over night, for the most part. I think sleeping with BBC World on all night helped...I always sleep with a news channel on when I'm sick for some reason, I guess the monotone voices help me sleep...

anyhoo, i'm going to a bunch of places today, and after today, only 4 more days! i'm gonna chill and do/see what I can, and then fly home to my beloved Massachusetts and my beloved Massholes!

I miss you all, and love most of you, hehe :loveya:

12. If I had the chance to be in Paris I would try to find
the craftsmen that did the Statue of Liberty.

When it was refurbished recently, many French ironworkers
(blacksmiths) were brought to New York because we (USA)
didn't have the skill to do it right.

So, if you could post a picture of an ironmonger's shop,
I would be eternally in your debt.

If not, that's cool too.

10. So soon, I'll be home! Yay!
I love Paris, but this trip has been challenging for me, to say the least. It's hard to do all this alone, for the first time. But, I'm surviving, and it's been quite the educational experience, most def. It will be nice to get home though, to silence and clean air, and my doggie...I really miss my doggie :)

and 24 hour stores...i miss those too :P
and my car
and my annoying brother
and weed :D

13. eh, i dunno
I've got 6 classes this semester, and I would have to find a ride down...my car's not reliable enought for me to chance that trip. I'd like to, but I'm just not sure yet. But, if you're gonna be there, I might have to make a more determined effort to get down there, papi :D

23. Hey, are you on the Left Bank?
You can do what I did, and hike all the way to the top of Mount Martre. It'll take you 2 hours either way, so carry a crepe jambon et fromage, or some fruit & bottled water. When you get to the top, you can go to la Mere Catherine and get a panache. That's 1/2 lemonade & 1/2 beer- really refreshing after a hike. You can pop into le chat noir.

Have you tried snails yet? I tried them on a dare, with 2 glasses white wine in me, and I really liked them.

21. Hey, baby!
Well, thank god your illness has gone. Guess what- the same thing happened here. 2 days of painful percocet withdrawals from an appendectomy and cramps on top, and now it's ok, not having taken painkillers.

Hehe- my very best friend is sleeping on the couch over there. We're going to have some coffee when the sun comes up, and she has a bunch of peaches she gathered from a peach tree in her back yard. We're baking peach pies.

What will you see tomorrow, sweetheart? You make me want to pull out those sketches again.

We love you, too.
