Does anyone's cats ever get the "crazies" early in the morning

and early evening? A friend told me that they do that because in the wild that's their hunting times. Isn't that cute?

and found that generally their "crazies" come out at night time. I love to watch them dart around the house.

he only starts "caterwaling" (sp?) when he's hungry. Then, he won't leave me alone until I come serve him his breakfast or dinner. I guess I'm his butler more than anything else!

6. Ours tend toward the evening

unless we're trying to sleep late :D. For instance, Caesar trucked over me at high speed like I was old furniture at 9 this morning. It's going to bruise (he weighs 14 pounds). :D

Imhotep talks to himself and does donuts in the living room after dinner every night. Sometimes one of the other cats joins in.

8. our cat eats breakfast at 4am...

so he will tap me or my wife on the face, nibble at our ears trying to get us up. if that doesn't work, he climbs on the nightstands and starts knocking everything on the floor till you must give in.:shrug:

Cats have an advantage over their prey in twilight conditions, hence the adaptation to be active at such times. It doesn't hurt that dawn and dusk tend to be "rush hour" for certain types of prey (leaving or returning to their nests).

13. My cat goes nuts around 4 AM

Howling, running up and down the hallway, knocking over stuff, jumping at every little thing.

I call it his "'Nam flashbacks"

It's the only time it ever makes me feel bad that he's cooped up in a little apartment (he doesn't object most of the time) but no way is it safe to let 'em out around here.

18. Actually, my wife's cat gets crazy whenever I wake up.

Sometimes, he will actually wake me up and THEN go crazy. He has the loudest meow of any cat I've ever heard.
