I am a smart-ass, sappy, geek.
I wear my heart on my sleeve and sometimes I can be kind of neurotic about things at times. I can break out into random show tunes and have assorted things about me that can be perceived by some as exciting and others as just plain weird.

But I'm ok with that. :7

How about your "flaws"? Have you learned to embrace them yet? :D

then you have a very wrong perception given my life and what I do for work. Just because I'm an open person means nothing of the sort, so have the nads to say what you what to say directly. Same goes for anyone.

There's nothing more wimpy than snide, passive aggressive bullshit.

11. I'm not young.
Just frighteningly immature.
(Actually not really as I'm a very responsible person who has had to be mature beyond my years all my life, but I have a light-hearted kind of spirit within me, in part, because I'm a mommy and I work with kids. Plus, it helps me cope when there's hard stuff in life and let's me enjoy the good stuff more. I refuse to completely grow up and give in to cynicism entirely. :))

10. my flaws.....
I am eccentric. I like my space. I love creative and artisitic things. When I do something I do it with passion, I am almost compusive about it. So I've learned to just let it all ride.

I embraced all that.

Most of all, I think up crazy funny things. So I just let that all fly in my creative work. I used to be afraid to write a story with cuss words or sexual or offensive content in it. Now I just go for it.

But, most of the time, when I'm not being funny. I am laid back and cool, calm and collected. I like being that way too.

37. yeah he is like that
I liked Chasing Amy, Dogma. Clerks. Mallrats was shit. I'd call Jersey Girl shit, but I wouldn't want to offend all of the good pieces of shit out there by associating it with that movie.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is probably my favorite one of his films. I would say.

I like Smith but I think he's pretty overrated. He can write some brilliant stuff, but visually he's pretty standard. Although, he really improved, he used to be quite subpar. When he is off though, he really will lay an egg. At his best, he's pretty good.

17. Let it out!
Sometimes a certain element of introversion is a part of one's self, but then I think about the times where I was more withdrawn in life and it was when I was transitioning or going through something and I needed to retreat on some level to process things. I don't know if that's you, but I know you well enough to know you need not worry about letting your light shine a little at times too. :pals:

29. two things made me stop behaving in such a shy manner...
even though i am still the geek of the century in my heart: a friend told me i was being perceived as rude and aloof when i was really just totally geeking and nervous, and then i read some buddhist thing about being self concious, and how it was self involved and boring. and i decide i couldn't act that way anymore. and i mostly stopped. and it wasn't so bad.
but yeah shoot me if i ever go on a tour, even for a few hours. most groups bite it.
so, i fooled ya, huh?

31. LOL!
I've been a musician or in a job which requires me to be "on stage" just about all my life, so I've always felt like I was playing a role to a certain degree. I can do that w/o a problem, but when I'm "me" is where the shyness comes in, so I really have to work at it. I've gotten much better at it as well, but I'm still that way at heart..
