My cat lets me pet her if I have ice cream or cereal in milk.

And after the bowl's empty, if I pet her, she bites me.

She thinks she's crafty, eh?

2. She's quite fiesty.

I got her from a shelter.

When I saw her, she was the only one alone in a great big cage in a slant of sunlight under a window, while the others were crowded.

And a piece of paper was taped to her cage, with VERY FIESTY written in thick black marker. I was looking at her and a worker in the shelter came over to me and said "You don't want that one. She bites."

So I brought her home.

She was 3 then, she's 11 now, has diabetes, gets insulin shots. Ice cream, in extremely small treat portions, is given to her very rarely.

But man, what a cat.

3. I have a very fiesty kitty too

Neo generally responds to petting (or even moving your arm near him) with biting, unless he's just eaten, or is very sleepy. But he lets me carry him around like a baby, insists on sitting in my lap at all times, and sleeps on my chest.

He seems quite happy when he's biting someone. We call him a Burmese Bitey-face.

4. Mine pounces on me as I walk across the room

sometimes he sinks his teeth a little but mostly it's a fake bite. Little pisser.

Licked the coating right off a KFC biscuit once. To my horror.

And, she loves grated cheese. It's like Kitty Crack.
