the latest pixels from the Waldorf Cat Haven (***dial-up warning***)
Petey flaunts his fine farmer's tan . . .

. . . while Daddy reclines in the most expensive cat bed in history

Charley Girl shows off her athletic talent, and all Skittles can do is watch

This isn't quite fair: Every night, Skittles, who is fully Charley's equal in energy and athleticism, jumps from a sitting position to heights of nearly six feet. She tries to get the moths & other bugs flying around outside the sliding glass door.

Skittles has had enough of Charley's showing off and is ready to rip!

What are you looking at?! This is perfectly innocent!

5. You'd best post one of Quinn or Althea - payback.
As I recall, I tried to show you up on a recent Quinn post... so ashamed.

11. i'm doing GREAT bertha!!!
i'm really digging my new neighborhood-- several excellent restaurants within walking distance, an Irish pub around the corner, and a pedestrian-friendly street with very friendly neighbors are just a few of the reasons i'm digging the new place!

here's a couple more photos i just took of the boyz, chillin'...

Leo snoozing the evening away on a chair my mom used to read in as a little girl:

Edgar getting my new $20 rug all full of cat hair:

8. did it buzz in your hand?
i hate when that happens

Harry brought in a live mouse once, long ago. He dropped it to speak, and it started to run away, and quick as a flash *SMACK* he brought his paw down on its tail & caught it. I thought that only happened in cartoons.

Cats. They'll keep us  forever.

Does he "talk" to you?

Just beautiful, bertha!

17. He surely does look like Ginger - but I get the impression
Ginger is purebred? Petey, believe it or not, is a mutt. His mom was a feral tortoiseshell and his dad is a tuxedo (we think Daddy, above, is his dad).

He talks rarely - usually just when he's fighting a toy mouse or waiting with the other kids for their treats. When he does talk, it is in the tiniest, highest-pitched voice -- if you heard him from another room, you'd never guess that was a Siamese.

He is a very, very sweet kitty - the sweetest I've ever known.

:hi:

18. Nope, Ginger's a mutt, too.
And he also has a really high-pitched voice, but it can be loud when he wants something (like for me to drag my butt out of bed and feed him or play with him).

Ginger's mom is gray and white farm cat, and his dad was a black and white feral cat from the woods near our house.

Petey looks like a big old lover. :hi:

20. He IS a loverboy, but the way he loves is strange...
He'll stand on you, and bite your fingers when you pet him. He'll also lick you wherever there's skin - arms, feet, face, he doesn't care. Still, he's just sooo sweet.

Wouldn't it be fun to get them together? :7
