Niece's friend home from Iraq.... his best friend killed by |
|
sniper while he was here.
This is the same kid whose mess tent got blown up early in the war, killing another buddy... he was not in it, because his mom sent him cereal.
This is one lucky kid, man.

2. I hate this war but I really admire the troops for what they're going thru |
|
It takes a LOT of courage and training and discipline to keep it together over there. We owe them every ounce of energy toward ending this madness.

5. There is evidently a group of genius snipers there |
|
They take only one shot, and they are accurate. They break down their guns, but them in a backpack and merge into the crowd. And they are highly lethal. They shoot right into the face or into the back of the neck. And we haven't caught a single one.

Remember: Starving men on the Russian Ural mountains made the best snipers, not American cowboys.

6. Not so lucky to witness the death of a friend. |
|
Same thing happened to my dad's best friend WWII, right next to him in a foxhole on Corregidor. My dad was a tortured man his entire life.
