I am really scared.....I can't get over this overwhelming feeling of doom.
I feel like something horrible is going to happen. I have had all of these dreams that have been full of symbols about doom and danger.

:scared:

1. go outside and take a walk, pet a cat, do something happy
don't let it feed on you. Get help if it doesn't get better or gets worse.

5. I know.....there is just a feeling in the air, isn't there?
I have felt this way before several personal tragedies. It is like time is going faster to this inevitable event, but there is nothing any of us can do.

The days have seemed darker. I feel a presence of evil right now and I am very scared. I don't know what that evil is, but I wish there was something I could do to stop it.

And to think, I was so happy and optimistic a few days ago! I am not depressed or anything like that, I just feel a presence of evil. I think that is something one can sense.

4. Bush is going to name us all enemies of the state
It was only a matter of time. Buy a gun. A BIG gun. At least take a few with you. They made those .50 caliber things legal a couple of weeks ago. Take advantage. That round will go through plate steel without even slowing down. You can take out a tank, if you know where to aim.

6. Bush the neocon doesn't exactly inspire confidence
Why doesn't he just go to Saudi Arabia and become one of the royal family and leave us the heck alone. He can take the rest of his tribe with him. We don't want any of them.

8. actually, bush isn't a neocon.......
the neocons are the radical lefties that got so radical they switched to the right. people like horowitz, hitchens, etc.

bush is too stupid to really be anything more than a puppet. but, i guess if you had to put some political label on him it would be "corporate socialist".

10. Tell us more.
Are you saying Bush is not a Neocon because he is too stupid to be a Neocon? He is being "puppeted" by Neocons. What's the fucking difference?

12. he's actually a puppet of the military industrial complex.....
the petrochemical industries, the pharmaceutical companies, and any number of other big industries and corporations. the iraq war is just where the agendas of the multinational corps and the neocons intersect. bush isn't a neocon, but the neocons are certainly in bed with the repubs.

13. Okay.
To me, the MIC is a part of Neoconism.

That is an interesting distinction you make. AS IF the interests of the Neocons are different from the MIC.

15. while the interests might be the same.....
....reasons behind them are different. for the MIC, the reasons are financial. for the neocons, they're idealogical.

i'm not saying either group is justified, i'm just saying they're two distinctly different groups of people that happen to be allied with each other.

16. the most interesting thing about the neocons is that they are rooted...
....on the left. it is a movement that was started by intellectuals on the left (bush is neither intellectual nor rooted on the left) who were strongly anti-communist and who floated over to the right when reagan was elected because their anti-communist idealogy trumped everything else.

so, yes, the neocons are on the same side of the political spectrum as the military industrial complex, but they are not the same (though, i'm sure many wealthy neocons invest heavily into the military industry now).

neocons don't necessarily oppose abortion, darwinism, etc. the founders of the movement were largely jewish (david horowitz, richard perle, krystol, etc) so they are not coming from the same place as the fundamentalist christians. but they're happy to jump into bed with anyone that can make their PNAC dream come true. they support a strong military that should be used to combat communism and spread american culture throughout the world. they dispise islamic fundamentalists and want them all destroyed.

so bush is not a neocon. nor are rummy, cheney, rice and the rest of the clowns. their motives are very different. idealogy is not the motivating factor in what the bush admin does, wealth is. and they're happy to stand next to the neocons because the neocons will start waving the flag and cheering for the war. and bush is simply the front man for the wealthy people who run the military industrial complex and the oil companies, etc....he's just a puppet.

9. Please consider some vitamin supplements...
you might have a physiological reason for these bad feelings. I'm not trying to downplay your feelings and fears, but often they can be caused by a dietary deficiency. I suggest that you go in for a checkup and some lab work.

11. I must admit....I'm feeling like the mafia bosses in DC are about to
pull something too. I think that's why they don't care about Cindy. They're also going to try and avoid as much publicity around the Fitzgerald thing too.

:scared:

I don't trust these bastards and *'s numbers are way to low for comfort.

18. Why? Just because our cabal in DC is gonna nuke an American city?
I share your sense of dread and doom.

I am positive we're gonna see some nuclear action before this asshole's term is over (that is, his "legal" term, since we all know that there will not be an election in 2008, unless they do a "one-party" election like Russia used to do).

19. No need to fear as long as the mock elections are given a nod & wink
As long as you still see people posting here at DU talking about " elections " and who the "dems" should run for president, the people in power have little reson to take more drastic action.

Fear, dread, evil, as long as you can live as a slave you are not in more danger than getting in an automobile.

The freakin deathtrap cars or rather the creeps that build them kill more americans every tiny march of days than were killed in the WTC and no one seems to be concerned about riding in cars or bringing the terrorists that build them to justice.

Until ther are more people that agree with Patrick Henry you heve no worries.
