Whodathunk that the worst team in a second tier North American soccer league would have a passionate group of ultras supporting them?

I went to a Toronto Lynx game this evening and was delighted to find this to be true. There were only about 20 of them, but they were pretty damn loud, spurred on by one of them who brought a bass drum along.

They had some pretty good songs:

referee!!! (to the tune of "Oh My Darlin' Clementine")

Lynx FC (to the Jesus Christ Superstar fanfare)

and for reasons unclear to me they were chanting the names of recent signings by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
