DU I need some good vibes, we are trying to get a home loan tomorrow
My hubby and I are going to the bank tomorrow to ask for a loan to buy the house we are currently renting.

It's a good house for a decent price, we love this house, we want it to be our own.

So could you guys think good thoughts for me, I'm kinda nervous about meeting the folks at the bank, this is the only house we've ever even thought about buying.

Thanks and much love,

Melody

1. Best to you. I hope you get it.
And if you do, you will probably be getting a nice low interest rate.

We are all good with tax returns and the down payment ready to hand over.

Still we have a good about of consumer debt, about $10,000. But we pay all of our bills on time, either way.

Since a mortgage would be hundreds less than our current rent, I'm hoping that it will happen.

11. That's nothing; you'll do fine.
I had like $7000. They don't seem to look at the amount so much as the minimum payment, it seemed to me. Like the guy was going through all my accounts and said like "and these are fine because the minimum payment is just $_".

I've actually paid bills late here and there out of neglect, but they've never ended up on my credit report, and the guy said I couldn't really ask for a better credit score.

4. I'm on your side.

Everyone should own their own home in spite of the BFEE economy.

Good luck.

8. I'll wish you good luck
but I think you will be fine. One of my sisters just bought a house that she'd been renting for a while and she doesn't have very good credit, but she managed to get a loan.

12. Did you know that without the GI bill Julia Child would have never been
able to afford cullenary school?

One of those interesting factoid I found out when she died.

Thanks guys ya'll rock!

I'm feeling the love.

13. if your credit score is good there should`t be a problem
depending on price and down payment you should be alright. banks still want to loan money...here`s a tip-ask them if they sell your mortgage. i got a no more than 7% guaranteed 30 year loan with a s&l that does not sell the mortgage. good luck, there`s nothing like owning your own house...
