Anyone have Windows XP
How do I get the little balloons that come up from the systray to stop (every minute or so, I get a balloon saying my wireless connection is connected).

1. i think this would work
start -> settings -> network connections
right click on the connection you're using (like local-area connection, unless it's different on wireless), properties, un-check boxes at the bottom, "show icon..." and "notify me..." That would remove the icon entirely from the bar, possibly just clearing the 2nd one would stop the balloons.

2. Your connection might be a little unstable. Are you
connected to a router?

8. Where is your router placed with respect to your computer?
Also, have you done updates for Windows and the router?

10. You might have to get an amplifier. Also 2.8G phones
,if near by, also interfere.

No I haven't found anything. But it's worth a try to move the phone away from the computer and see if anything changes.

3. Try this
Go to DOS and type: C:/harddrive/destroy/erase/burn/kill/selfdestruct/code1A1A/codeb2b2/code3c3/ignite/ignite/ignite/

On second thought, don't.

:)

5. First thing I did was get rid of that annoying popup person/dog
wizard or "bob" or dog or whatever that really annoying creature was that wanted to tell me what I was doing whenever I did something. I got to stop using so much computer language when I got rid of it (computer language being cuss words and shut the * up go die in hell you dirty *9&^#)*(#).

"Oh, you found the mouse. Congratulations. Move it a little and click on something and see what happens. Experiment!" die in hell you creature shut the f* up...mutter mutter mutter
