Paris dumps her littlest friend: Celebrity break-ups are always hard, even more so when the one getting left behind can't possibly tell their side of the story to some glossy magazine. Paris Hilton hasdecided she needs someone younger, as is dumping her once-miniscule chihuahua Tinkerbell for an even-smaller dog named Bambi. Paris insists that its only because Tink has some sharing issues: "I still have Tinkerbell and I love her, too, but she gets jealous and she bites him when I'm holding both of them." But a friend told New York magazine that she "only likes them when they're very small, and Tinkerbell got too big." The whole thing might actually be the fault of Paris' bad parenting -- a dog breeder familiar teacup chihuahuas says, "Tinkerbell is at the larger end of the teacups. Usually, they won't go over 3.5 pounds, but if you fix them or feed them junk ..." (News.com.au)

now that the dog is no longer adorable 'teacup' size he'll probably be sent to some old family home where the maids will be expected to clean up after it. Thing is that dog has been pampered for years so he's not going to understand when he's no longer in the limelight like that. I makes me sad - please Paris give up the dog and stop adopting other dogs for adoption.

I met a lady once who breed toy dogs and she said she was having an increase in demand for these tiny totable pets but she was doing her best to ensure these dogs wouldn't end up treated like that - especially when it was young girls who were demanding the dogs as pets

I wish more breeders would care more about their "products" than they do about money! Or at least take responsibility for the life of the dogs they do sell so we're not killing millions of the homeless ones every year :(
