Tonight on AMC: The best Bond film EVER made!

On Her Majesty's Secret Service with George Lazenby in his only Bond film(and a damned shame he wasn't in any more); and Emma Peel herself, the luscious Diana Rigg also stars; 8:00pm for the fullscreen and 11:00pm for the letterboxed.

And some great opening Bond theme music as well, and no spoilers here; the most shocking ending to a Bond film...

I can't wait!

Lazenby is pretty good--better than Roger Moore, but not as good as Sean--who didn't appear in this one because of a contract dispute, but he returned for the next one which wasn't the best--"Diamonds are Forever."

'Cept for the two with Timothy Dalton.

They do get a social pass though.

"Diamonds Are Forever" gets my vote... That is mainly because
I think Willard Whyte is a hoot. Also, the banter between Mr.
Wint and Mr. Kidd is priceless.

5. Dalton had two of them

And I actually liked them. LIving Daylights wasn't as good as License to Kill. Benicio Del Toro was quite young looking in LTK too. It's funny to see him.

It's almost as painful as watching former Bond and Scottish gent, Sean Connery, try to be a Russian Sub Captain. That accent was just attrocious.

10. Only one Bond was actually from England, ya know.

Connery was Scottish.
Dalton was Welsh.
Brosnan is Irish.

Moore is the only English Bond so far, and judging by some of the turkeys he's been in, being English does not necessarily make for a great James Bond.

Lazenby's great, even if he is an Aussie. The fight scenes in particular appear more realistic than in most of the films.
