I've gotta get out of here early today. The thing with the guy practicing for "dove season" and the crosses being mowed down at Camp Casey has ever-perky Heidi pretty bummed, and the best thing for me to do when I feel this way is take good care of _me_: paint like there's no tomorrow, and spend some time in nature.

Dorky as it may sound, I'll burn some lotus incense for all of us today while I'm painting. We're all lights in the world, whether we know that about ourselves or not.
