9. Let me tell you a little story about a smear campaign.

True story, too.

My 9yo goes to the local elementary school. I am a pretty 'large' presence there because I volunteer a great deal, donate a lot and generally calls em as I sees em.

The new assistant principal, yes, we actually have a person with that title, decided he was going to take me down a notch. So, he started to trash me to the teachers, etc.

Problem for him was that the teachers are friends of mine and were reporting back to me. It got so bad that I had to hire an attorney because this guy was harassing me and stalking me, seriously, in a fucking elementary school.

Then, an interesting thing started to happen. People started feeding me all kinds of little tid bits about this guy...he was having an affair, had raped his wife, tried to force wifey to have an abortion, you get it. And, I passed each little tid bit on to the principal, the superintendent and the director of elementary education.

So, in the end, I won and he was out of job.

Smear campaigns work. I am all for them.
