Young Republicans Enlist in Droves
U.S. Army Smashes Records as Young Republicans Rush to Enlist

". . . the U.S. Army has set a new recruiting record in the wake of President Bush's address to the nation last Tuesday. Young Republicans are flocking to Army recruiting centers to join up and volunteer to serve in Iraq. The flood of new recruits has caught the Army off guard . . . ."

Who knew?

2. LOL.
I love this story:

Jessica Simpson Explodes At 37,000 Feet

(New York--NY) Boobs by DuPont? That's question that's been following Jessica Simpson, or, more correctly, her breasts on her Dukes of Hazzard press tour. And it may have been answered by an alleged explosion on board Virgin Air Flight 281 en route from Heathrow to JFK that frayed the nerves of passengers and Homeland Security personnel but may have simply been one of Jessica Simpson's implants "popping."

4. rofl
"America needs me to fight, and who better to bear the burden of this fight than a guy like me. My family is rich, I've grown up with more privilege and opportunity than most and it's time to pay for it. I'm not going to run away from a fight like some draft dodging rich kid with family connections. No sir, even though there is no draft it is the responsibility of privileged Americans to fight this fight."

8. Disclaimer on the bottom of the page...
Unconfirmed Sources political satire and news story parodies as represented above are written as satire or parody. They are, of course, fictitious.

Oddly enough, they also had the story of the pickup truck driver and the crushed crosses...

12. dunno, a recruiter at my home last week
Edited on Tue Aug-16-05 12:37 PM by jackster
said he'd been busier than ever for a few days. My son, former Army, Raygun worshipper, and Buscho/war supporter wants to volunteer for Iraq. Course it's only because he's homeless and practically jobless and has gotten himself into a financial pickle and Mom won't and can't bail him out this time. He was FURIOUS with me when I told him that I am going to continue to protest this war even if he goes! I love my son, but like 99% of today's republicans, he lives in a fantasy world....

6. Operation Yellow Elephant is a smashing success.
Once again, the Republican party shows it's true colors by being the first in line when it comes to fighting wars in the name of Freedom.

oh wouldn't that be grand!

It would FINALLY be the end of the war as their parents rushed ensure the continuity of their gene lines.

a bunch of Young Republicans, swilling beer, sending hate e-mail with bad grammar and spelling and popping zits and yelling neener neener neener at "the enemy" and pissing themselves the first time they heard a real gun go off, not a sound effect on a video game.

Free Republic wherefor art thou? Didn't you get the memo?

(quiet as a louse, sound of crickets chirping)

13. I love the "Limbaugh" quote

"It's about damn time these spoiled brats get out there and do some good." Raged Limbaugh recently. "These kids don't know how good they've got it. They have never had to work for anything in their lives… It time kiddies. Its' time to go to war…Dear listeners do you have sons and daughters who are of military age? Get them to the recruiting center! We need these good kids fighting for our freedom in Iraq!"

I wanna live in this Bizarro world where this would be a reality!
