I might have just found a job

I put in a call to the environmental PAC that has been putting up flyers around Hyde Park (the community in Chicago in which I live), and they asked me to come in for an interview around four. It sounds like the job will consist of a lot of canvassing, putting up flyers, and so on, but it solves both the "what am I going to do with my time" question and a recent urge to start putting my proverbial money where my mouth is.

This could be a good thing. :)

I myself work for big pharma. I joke that "my job keeps the prices of drugs artificially high, so your parents can't afford their meds" but seriously, if I weren't living with a struggling actor, I go work for Hospice.

I rationalize that at least I'm helping to support the arts....
