The real question is, when's the last time you heard that expression?

I've always had to haul my own ashes. The maid charges extra for windows and hauling ashes.
In fact the last time I hauled my own ashes was just after the last cold snap here. It had been a while AND it was raining and I was bored and there was a bunch of ashes.
I got ashes EVERYWHERE, but it was okay, they all flaked off when they dried out.
