6. How about your hair?
Is your hair having fun? Because if my hair looked as good as your hair, it'd be having fun.

19. I started off playing hardcore punk
One of my bands was "Yom Kippour and The Circumcisions". Then played in various bands; by the time I quite the band thing I was playing in an alt-country band called "The Missouri Breaks". All original (mostly) in my bands; I played bass in the beginning, but switched over to guitar and sang and wrote alot of the songs..

22. Cool
The two bands that I was supposed to be part of over the past three years ended up not working out before we even really got started, which sucked, because I thought both bands would have had potential.

24. Keep trying
And think about doing the DIY thing, too; I'm doing that now. With the programs out there you can pretty much do whatever you want on a PC now; there are some great instrument programs and synths out there..

26. Yeah, I've been dabbling in making downtempo electronic stuff
Sort of a DJ Shadow type vibe. Need to get back into the habit of doing that.

And yeah, I'm sure I'll end up in another band sooner or later.

Edited on Wed Aug-17-05 12:51 AM by Heidi
that's only natural. You'll probably confront an entirely different right of hair passage at middle age, but there's Rogain for that.

If so, I'm gonna be a cue ball eventually.

30. I've only heard that male pattern baldness skips a generation
but I have no idea how that works. You have such a good heart and mind, primate1, that you shouldn't give possible future baldness another thought. You can always collect your beautiful hair as it falls out and have it taxidermied.

At least I'm not already balding. My ex-roommate's boyfriend is only two years older than me and is well on his way to cue ball-hood.

32. Mr. Heidi started losing his hair on top when he was
in his early 20s, and now (at 39) is quite bald on top. No problem whatsoever. It's just more nekkid skin for me to look at. ;)

11. I'm just taking some extra time to read Buzzflash articles tonight
I've been out of the loop for a while.

All that I was thinking about today is Bush's plans to attack Iran. Yes, I said IRAN.

We have truly lost our way.

17. He's trying for a trifecta
Fucking up 3 countries beyond belief, apparently.

The thing is, you could tranpose everything they said about Iraq to Iran; it's the exact thing, except the names are changed. How anybody w/ an IQ of a canned ham could believe anything they say at this point is beyond me, but we've got a whole bunch of Fundies who was to speed up their "Left Behind" fantasies, and they are determined to take us along with them.

That's the scary part.

20. more power to you
Edited on Wed Aug-17-05 12:47 AM by Tom Kitten
I've been having lots of serious moments lately.
Contemplating the fathom of animosity I've seen directed towards people who think like, well, people like us, has given me a severe case of spiritual indigestion...
I have to look now at the other side in a new light, one I had suspected but now know to be true...it's blind hatred they feel, and it's directed entirely our (and I mean by "our ", "my") way...

on edit... and oh yeah...they now worship a god that is now totally alien to me...

But I have to mention it.

About that song in pictures I did yesterday. I thought that it was one of my better efforts, but the response I got was pretty anemic.

Just saying
