The local school board wanted to sell 1000 apple laptops for 50 bucks a piece. An old man was knoclked off his walker. A baby carrige was crushed. (baby is ok). One lady was trampled. 17 people ended up in the local ER

What a complete cluster-f*** by all involved.

It was the funny news story of the day this morning on the Today Show. Apparently everyone was laughing at Henrico County.

7. Last Christmas, in my city here, a woman was trampled to death

when WalMart opened it's doors at 6am. She fell/was knocked down in a throng grasping at DVD players. The folks she was there with snatched one up during the stampede. They told the local media that they stayed behind to buy it because "she would've wanted it that way."

Yikes.
