find out if there is a BOP (Brew on Premise) near you. That would be the easist way.

15. Sounds great but I'd substitute
Amarillo hops for Cascades, quanity adjusted for alpha acid for the dry hop. It sounds like a great beer.

16. I'm going to pass on the dry-hopping.
It's already got something like 160 IBUs without the addition of dry hops. If I wanted my beer to taste like my backyard, I would add grass clippings.

17. Hmmm.... grass clippings
I've considered that before. I'm a hophead so I usually go lighter in the boil and get the flavor from the dry hop. I love the floral, fruity thing balancing the bitterness in my IPA's. BTW I don't use cascades anymore because of the unreliability of their flavor.

18. I'm the opposite. I like beers that are hugely malty...
but I'm making an IPA for a change of pace.

I was thinking of a beer I had in Czechoslovakia a few years back at Pivovar U Fleku, Praha. Black as midnight, but a huge malt flavor...without that astringency normally associated with black beers (from too much black patent malt, I believe).

19. Huge malt
I'll have to dig out my Reaper's Imperial Stout recipe from 2001. 11.2% abv, I can't remember finishing gravity, but, crazy, ridiculous , huge malt. I still have 2 bottles and they have gotten better every year.
