1. No
but my doggie loves the cat litter box -- it's the source of his tasty "treats." It's totally gross -- why do dogs like cat poop so much?

8. HaHaHa....
Try an experiment. Place cat poop next to horse apples and see which the dog goes for first. Every dog I have ever owned has loved horse manure. I've had dogs try to sneak their new 'chew toy' in the house. Had one dog I had to do oral checks on before letting him in the house. I had him trained. "Open your mouth Chandles." He'd open his mouth. "Stick out your tongue Chandles." He'd stick out his tongue. Then, I had to grab the tip of his tongue and check under it - both sides. He was a large dog (approx. 150 lbs), he had a big mouth, and after all this, he STILL got the occasional piece of horse crap in the house.

He liked the kitty box contents as well, but ONLY after the horse treats were gone....

Now, I ask you, does any animal who snacks on fecal matter REALLY need two weeks to adjust their digestive system to a new brand of dog food? Or, is that just a marketing gimmick?

17. ROFL
My mom used to call English toffee "kitty litter candy" so I guess the reverse fits too. That is really funny, Richardo!

2. I use a doggie pan that you line with a pad

My dog uses it most of the time.

I don't use the expensive liners from the pet store.
I use the liners that you use for patients beds.

Don't have a cat.

6. Doesn't have a name on it

And I've had two of them for 6 years.
They are grey and made by Ralston Purina Co.

I think it was made to put litter in for dogs but I just started lining them with pads and it works great!

My Maltese has colitis and it was difficult to train him to go outside.

He is eleven and adorable.

7. There speaks someone who never had a dog
flood the cat litter box because he thought it was too cold to go outside in the middle of winter.

I do not, nor have I ever used a dog litter box. However, I did have a doberman who hated going outside in winter. One day, he decides -"NO MORE! Cats can stay inside and piss, I can too!" So, he goes in where the cat litter box was kept, and pissed. He flooded that damn thing....This was before clump litter. Contents of the cat box cresting over the edge of the box, riding on the gentle wave of canine urine...Oh! The memories!

So, while I don't use them, I completely understand why some people may feel inclined to utilize these containment vessels. And, who's to say, if Rebel were still alive, it is very possible I would purchase one for him.
