When you make Rice-a_Roni...
do you subconsciously sing....

"Rice a roni... the San Francisco treat"
"Rice a roni, the taste that can't be beat"
Sauteed and simmered
it's the San Francisco treat.

I am afraid I do.

But I love me some Rice-a-Roni.

1. I will NEVER be free from the UNHOLY bond that Rice-A-Roni...
...hold on me.

It's the San Francisco treat, and it's sunk its hooks DEEP into me.

May GOD have MERCY upon me.

3. Well duh?
It was a requirement for us San Franciscans. That and the sour dough bread soup bowls.

There is a test you have to take in SF and two are the requirements are to learn to sing:

1. The Rice-a-Roni Song

&

2. I Left My Heart In San Francisco

I got for extra points and sang the old "San Francisco" song by Judy Garland.

But that's only a requirement for the gays.

5. Rice a Roni isn't really rice. But whatever it is, it is damned good.
Buttery soft noodly substance.

7. Yes!
Isn't there relief in finding you're not alone?

I love that stuff too. (Now I need to find some w/out meat products, though.)

8. Its just white rice and vermicelli
buy rice and extra thin spaghetti - saute in olive oil and flavor with (fresh or died) parsley, garlic, onion, and veggie bullion if you can't take any meat at all. Or even make your own veg stock and use for the water.

To be where little cable cars
