Golfers: Do you throw away old clubs?
I ask because as I was walking to my car this morning, this guy walked up to about 30 feet from the dumpster, tossed a golf club toward it, and walked away. So after a while I went over and took a look at it. Chinese-made Golfmate Eagle alloy 1 wood. Doesn't appear to be anything wrong with it. Maybe he got a better club.

1. I haven't golfed since I fell off of the ballwasher....
..and sprained my shoulder.

Sorry, that joke is springloaded for whenever anyone mentions golf. I can't help myself.

2. Never have
Either trade them or sell them to someone else. As a last resort, will donate them to goodwill to resell.

Never heard of that club before. So many brands and styles out there.

4. Maybe he just used it in a crime
And was getting rid of the evidence. Alloy wood huh? Is that like American cheese food, it's cheese but not really?

16. He probably put his drive in the drink a few times.
And got pissed off and threw it away. I usually dispose of my cursed clubs in the nearest water hazazard or river, but evidently, this guy waits until he gets home.
