LOL, just rescued my husband.
He went out walking on the trail about 5 miles from our house. The weather here was iffy but it looked like everything was going to skirt around us. It started to rain kind of hard and after a while he called me and told me he had found shelter at the BMX track. It got worse, the sky got darker, it rained harder and I called him and asked if he wanted me to come and get him. So far he had stayed dry under the overhang of that little building. So I drive out there. I noticed that the clouds were getting lower and darker and there was some rotation so I knew something was changing. The lightning was really something. I got there and he was standing there, still dry but it was raining really hard. ALl of a sudden my truck (big, heavy duty truck) was jolted by a gust of wind and the rain started blowing right at him. I sat there, 70 mile an hour winds blowing hard driving rain right at him. At first he started running back and forth like an arcade duck, I was cracking up. Then he just stood there like a stork. Nothing was dangerous, he was away from lightning danger but just getting pummeled by the rain. Ahhhh, Kansas. You just never know. This has to be one of the funnier incidents I have ever seen him in. He left a lake behind in my truck.

3. But did he pay for the gas?
That is very important to rescuers.
