10. Go up to the top of this page and choose "options"...

..then choose "edit profile" from the menu on the left. Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you can edit your signature line. In the text box, look for the two img codes that are now displaying on either side of your sig image, and delete both, including the brackets, then hit the "update button".

and to the poster with the IMG tags, just go back into options - profile, and remove the img and brackets, the pic should still be there, but the tags won't show on the screen

11. I went for the max size, which is 500 x 200 pixels...

...and managed to get it optimized down to 17 kilobytes in Photoshop.
