My brother spentd 14 months in Yugo during the civil war in the UN.
He saw unspeakible things. He crys when he gets drunk. This was 15 years ago and it still haunts him.

7. Hey fired on unfriendles when there was no-one else to help.
He was in a two day firefight with Croats, you will not hear this on CBC. You will never see this on TV Dead and wounded on both sides. Towns burned to the groud.

5. Dad is gone now,he was such a help.
He went through this in World War two. I never tapped that strength. Now my brother has dreams of murdered children and burning buildings and I do not understand his his deep sadness. I can ssy I "Please Wayne,move on." but this does nothing for his sleepness nighs.

6. How horrible
Has he ever gotten any counseling or would he be open to it? It might help him at least find ways of coping with his memories - that stuff just percolates inside and becomes more and more powerful instead of less with time.
