It's very difficult to type with a bulky bandage on your index finger

I had the brilliant idea of having some toast last night after drinking most of a bottle of wine. My bread was down to the end (I make my own bread) and so it was difficult to slice - I managed to nearly sever the tip of my left index finger in the process and it's made typing rather problematical.

Thank goodness for butterfly bandages!
