Anyone know how to get a street sign off the wall without cutting it down? |
|
My beloved took it upon himself when we moved into our condo years ago to take some of my ill-gotten booty (two street signs) and SUPERGLUE them to the garage wall. He is adamant (and the new owners would probably concur) about not cutting them off the wall and leaving a hole behind, but I'm bumming at leaving them behind. (One is my name.)
Any ideas what can de-loosen superglue on metal/fiberglass? I may be pissing in the wind with hope, but there it is.

4. Acetone is VERY volatile. Use in a well ventilated ares. |

Remove all sources of ignition...flame, sparks and electrical sparks. You will have to use quite a bit and the fumes will fill the room. You will need moving air. Also be careful of any rags you use. They should be thoroughly dried before storing and I wouldn't store them in anything even near airtight.
Good luck and take your time.

I forget sometimes that not all people will read a warning label. :)
