Did you believe that Darth Vader was really Luke's father?

So, I am in the mood to post about insignificant stuff tonight, and I am feeling sort of nostalgic, so, here is the question.

Back when "The Empire Strikes Back" came out, did you really believe that Darth Vader was Luke's papa? I didn't. I thought he was lying.

1. Well, if * came up to me and said he was my father, I'd disagree too.

Except I don't have the Force. Luke and Darthie did. So that's how Luke knew.

But then when Luke "messaged" Leia telepathically, something just clicked into place, and I accepted it all with a sigh. Those were more innocent days, I guess. A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

I remember the debate went on for the years until Return of the Jedi came out. Soon after that, I'm sure I got some "I told you so's".

He sounded too wooden.
