We were at the game, only the second GS I have ever seen live, both were from the opposing team...

I put this loss squarely on Gardy, who should have had someone in the bullpen warming up during the 6th inning, because Kyle Lohse is very inconsistent in later innings. Sure enough, the first two batters in the 7th inning hit back to back HRs and tie up the damn game.

On a good note, it was Met Stadium Replica give away, and we scored two of the collectibles.

...long after you forget about Sexson's grand slam and the Twins' loss.

I did feel kinda bad for the fans though. The game looked wrapped up for the Twins for most of the afternoon.

I don't blame the Twins' judgment for giving Boonie a chance. After all, they got him for a pittance and sometimes those changes can turn a (formerly) great player around. But the Twins were smart to get rid of him as soon as they realized that wasn't going to happen.

That sure does seem like a strange stadium, with that white tent-like roof. What's it like being there?
