What fruit season do you look forward to the most?

Crawfish season's only been over three months, and I'm already looking forward to January. I crave the little bastards year round.

When I was a kid, my dad and I would go fishing with one of my uncles up in Southern Illinois. My cousins and I would go down to the creek and catch crawdads for bait. :D

As for me, I really don't like them boiled, but fried or in gumbo or etouffee I like them just fine.

I have small crawfish on the banks by my creek, right behind my house.

I like 'em boiled, fried, in etouffee, you name it...any way I can eat them, I will. :D

I like oysters, too. Raw or fried, I'm in heaven when I'm eating them. :D

My first shot at strawberry wine is fantastic if I do say so myself, and right now I'm working on this year's blackberries.

And a friend just told me where I can get blueberries for a buck a pound!

Fresh, hand-picked from the garden. Not even washed yet....If there's dirt on it rub it off....If it's early in the morning, they may still be dew covered and if it's later in the afternoon, they may be warmed by the sun....Yep, definitely strawberries...

We seem to be able to get strawberries all year round these days. I eat about a pint of blueberries everyday in the summer, but when they're off season, they're way too expensive to buy.
