10. Ever since I read about
Inouye's experience in WWII (having an arm blown off helping two friends against the Japanese), I have had a GREAT DEAL of respect for him.

Even more now that I know he's one of the good guys.

This is an older test...I see that Hollings is still mentioned. And I'm sure Barack Obama would be on my list. :-)

19. Yes, they need to update it.
Here's what I got:

Rank Item Percent
1: Daniel Inouye (Hawaii) (100%)
2: Jon Corzine (New Jersey) (100%)
3: Edward "Ted" Kennedy (Massachusetts) (96%)
4: Hillary Rodham Clinton (New York) (80%)
5: Richard "Dick" Durbin (Illinois) (80%)
6: Dianne Feinstein (California) (78%)
7: Patrick Leahy (Vermont) (78%)
8: Charles E. "Chuck" Schumer (New York) (76%)
9: Tom Harkin (Iowa) (76%)
10: Ernest "Fritz" Hollings (South Carolina) (72%)
11: Robert "Bob" Graham (Florida) (72%)
12: Robert C. Byrd (West Virginia) (71%)
13: John D. "Jay" Rockefeller IV (West Virginia) (68%)
14: John F. Kerry (Massachusetts) (65%)
15: Christopher Dodd (Connecticut) (64%)
16: Joseph Lieberman (Connecticut) (61%)
17: Joseph Biden (Delaware) (59%)
18: Harry Reid (Nevada) (55%)
19: Thomas Daschle (South Dakota) (55%)
20: C. William "Bill" Nelson (Florida) (48%)
21: Evan Bayh (Indiana) (43%)
22: Max Baucus (Montana) (39%)
23: John Breaux (Louisiana) (34%)
24: Blanche Lincoln (Arkansas) (30%)
25: Zell Miller (Georgia) (14%)

Frankly, I'm astonished that I would overlap with Zell Miller :puke: even that much.

I am a fan of Corzine for his stance on chemical plant security (which of course is not mentioned in the survey).

My wonderful senior senator, Paul Sarbanes, doesn't even get a mention! He's a reliable liberal and quite principled. None of this dumb going-along-for-fellowship routine (i.e., things like naming National Airport after Reagan).
