I put it on top of another, upside and all kinds of ways.
I finally taped a note to it asking the guys to throw it out. It was quite a chore to get rid of it.

29. Exactly the same thing happened to me. |
|
Took FOUR weeks of various different sixed notes affixed to the trashed trash can. I even bent it all out of shape and put it INSIDE another trash can. Finally a huge note wrapped around the entire can saying "THIS TRASH CAN IS GARBAGE, PLEASE TAKE AWAY" did the trick. :eyes:

4. Honestly I do not know. They probably would put it back on the curb |
|
I suspect you could take it to the dump yourself

How about a blowtorch - I could melt it to the size of a beach bucket. :)

23. I purchased a new can recently... |
|
one with the metal top that closes. I just took my old one and put it in the dumpster here in my apartment complex. I can see, though, why it would be difficult to get rid of one with the garbage collectors!

24. At first I thought that was going to be a philosophical conundrum |
|
As it's a practical question, I'm afraid I can't really help. Round here we get a wheelie-bin provided by the council (plus a paper recycling box, and soon a compostable-waste bin as well) and so don't provide our own (and therefore don't dispose of our own).

26. It is a difficult task. Everytime I tried to throw my last |
|
one away, the garbage people didn't get it. So, I suggest taking it to a dumpster.
