person on ignore? This is supposed to be the way to do it. There's also a way to ignore individual threads. Wonder if this is what you clicked.

(There may be another way also, but if you're in a thread that has a post from that person, you'll click the little sleeping person icon in that person's post to put that person on the ignore list for everything.)
