====================================================== SPOILERS (MAYBE) I'LL BE INTENTIONALLY VAGUE, BUT... I CAN'T GUARANTEE HOW VAGUE ANY REPLIES WILL BE. ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK! ======================================================
... because I hadn't watched the final episode and didn't want to risk spoiling anything.
But now that I've seen it, I just have to say this about that...
Wow! Without giving anything away to anyone who still hasn't watched it... but the last three episodes were intense. Many scenes moved me to tears... but that final series of forward-looking scenes was a truly awesome way to end the show. Not at all what I had expected.
I was expecting the same old end-of-series lame "wrap-ups" that we got from Sex & the City, or Queer as Folk. You know, where most story lines are resolved and wrapped up into nice, neat packages.
I had never seen anything done like it before... so from my perspective it was very unique. It warmed my heart and made me sad at the same time.
Other than the great characters, I'll also miss hearing the haunting oboe and harp in the opening theme song.
Anyway... this has probably already been discussed to death (ha!) in the other SFU threads that I hid. Sorry.
