16. It was so funny

We were driving around Beverly Hills and my SO noticed her first. She was in the drive way of a house that had a "For Lease" sign up.

We turned around and I drove past it again. Then we turned around and parked. Miss Thang noticed us and went back inside.

What REALLY pissed my mom off was about a year ago I was driving down Santa Monica Blvd in BH and I saw HER.

HER as in Babs! Barbra Joan Streisand and James Brolin were at waiting to make a left turn. Of all the times for me to have a damn GREEN light.

Everytime I call my mom with a "celeb alter" she always says first "Barbra?!!!" and this time she didn't. When I told her there was a moment of slence and I thought she might have thrown the phone of the floor. Her responce was either "Well sonovabitch!" or "Well SHIT!".

I keep trying to track down some "movie stars" and pull a Lucy Ricardo and have bunch of them show up.

Holy Crap... she's sounds like a hoot.

BUT Barbra!!!!! That's pretty cool. Did your mom like Mike Myer's Coffee Talk skit on SNL? That time Barbra showed up unexpectedly is one of my all time favorite TV moments. :D

18. I don't think she ever saw it.

But she would have lost it if she ever met her.

We had front row seats to see Gladys Knight in Vegas and my mom was on cloud nine. She's like me when it comes to seeing stars.

19. I saw Gladys years ago at the Universal Ampitheatre..

or whatever they call it now. she's awesome AND the Pips were still with her!

Bubba Knight (her brother) still performs with her and his her manager.

He's a scream. He held the mike to my mom and she sang some lines to "Heard it Throught the Grapevine".
