Let's say you want me to do you a favor. You call me over and over again for months. Let's just say I finally agree to take a chance and help you out - promote a record you feel is worthy. Here's my advice: don't call me a week later telling me that doing this promotion is a big pain in your ass and your artist is crazy and you wish you had never gotten into this mess in the first place. Because if you do....I will not willingly do business with you again. :hi:

But I stopped this person in the middle of their rant and said: "Here's what I need from you. I need to know only the information pertinent to our transaction. Anything else you tell me at this point will only serve to damage our relationship. I don't care if the artist is crazy. I don't care if he's threatening to sue you. Honestly? You get paid to deal with that. Not me."

7. Yes, I've had similar things happen

Someone wants me to help them with something but are reluctant about doing it when I'm actually available and instead want me to take time off work or something to do them a favor for free. :wtf:

Or the other one that makes me laugh - the people who come into the store where I work looking for empty boxes and when I show them the boxes I have (taking time out of my actual job to do so), they tell me, "oh, no, that won't work. I need one that's about this size and shape and don't you have any like that?"
