Why does it have to be hot as HELL outside?
It is unbearable. I break a sweat walking to my damn car that is maybe 20 steps away. And I don't sweat very easily.

That is my complaint of the day. Thank you!

1. Well you can move to the midwest
and fight off several arctic blasts during the winter, with 10 below not uncommon. ;-)

3. I like the cold. I like the heat too, but
damn when it feels like 110 degrees, it is miserable. It also gets pretty cold here in the winter. Never really below zero, but it gets in the teens. I guess wherever you live, there will always be something that kind of sucks!

15. It gets in the teens down there?
As long as there's no ice storms. I gotta find me a place with no ice.

16. Yeah! We do have ice storms occasionally. It is not
that common, but they definitely happen. I remember the worst one I've lived through was in 1994. We were w/o power for a few weeks and w/o water for about a week. It sucked. But it was beautiful!

2. i have a carport at my house. the walk from the carport
down the, mostly shady, driveway to get the paper at 7:45 am leaves me with a damp brow and sweat on the back of my neck. it is only about 30 feet for pete's sake.

and a few minutes ago i had to get in my car, parked in full sun, to get some lunch. i don't think there is anyway i could have been hotter in there. if it was on fire it would have been cooler.

6. I'm with you. That is why I am complaining.
I just got out of my oven of a car. I feel like I need to go home and shower before coming back into work.

4. its Karma
we have 'built it' and 'it' has come.

Don't sweat the big stuff- there's enough small stuff to keep us dripping.

all the parents are democrats,
all the children gifted,
all of the highways go where you want,
and you can always find something on TV....

8. But I like a cold winter.
I couldn't imagine not having the fireplace going during Thanksgiving and Christmas. So I guess I'll just have to live with it and let y'all listen to me complain! :P

10. No, it's not as hot as Hell, it's hotter than Hell.
I live in North Georgia, where summers can be fairly brutal. But I know that eventually it will end and cooler weather will be on the way.

At least, I'm not living in South Florida any more, where it is summer just about year 'round.

11. If the humidity would just go down it would be okay.
The temp is only 94, but the damn humidity is making it feel close to 110.
