You *MUST* check out "Fonzie" from SNL Christopher Walken DVD

Nini and I got the DVD for only $7.50 at Target, and one of the extras is a skit that was done during dress rehearsal, but left off of the actual show. It is a trailer for Milos Forman's "Fonzie", with Walken in the title role.

It is just the funniest fucking thing EVER. We laughed so hard I nearly died from my inability to BREATHE, and Nini couldn't even see the screen anymore.

"He was the coolest man in Milwaukee..." :D


Makes me wonder how many great skits they cut for the shitty ones.

The DVD contains the "Cowbell" classic of course, The Continental, and Colonel Angus, another favorite. :rofl:

1. I WISH they had included "Eternity"... the Calvin Klein game show.

Like Jeopardy, but with questions, and contestants, out of some German art flick (or I guess, really, out of a Calvin Klein Obsession commercial).

8. One of the Will Farrell Best Of sets

Had a really funny sketch that never aired on it too. (Something to do with an invasion and a prospector.)

It sort of went all over the place and no one could keep a straight face. But it was much funnier than most of the dreck that makes it on air.

He ALWAYS reads from the cards, and never looks at the actors.

That was one of my favorite Walken bits. I've only seen it once, but it was pretty funny!

13. THat guy is consistently funnier than any other regular host

that I've seen on the show. Maybe its just his weird personality, but I laugh my ass off every time I see him on that show. I really love the one with the castaways where he played the crazy captain.
