How can I get wrinkles out of a silk jacket?

I have to go to a funeral tomorrow, and the only black suit jacket I have is silk. It was folded up, so it's very wrinkled. Is there any way to get the wrinkles out? Thanks.

1. Steam.

either from a kettle or a steam iron.

Do not iron it, merely allow the steam to loosen the wrinkles and then let gravity do its work.

3. Yep..hang it in the bathroom and turn on the shower...HOT

get the room steamy then leave the door shut and let it hang a while..if they are wrinkles and not creases, it will work

2. If you have really hot water, you can hang it in your

shower to suck up some steam.

4. And next time

if you have to fold your jacket to pack it, put it in the plastic bag the dry cleaners give you. Keeps down the wrinkles.

5. Steam in the bathroom----I often get rid of really large wrinkles

after the steaming by pulling on the garment(while still damp and hanging) and then using a hair dryer.

Poof! Wrinkles gone.
