Keeping my hair non-grey in keeping with my hair fetish today
Okay, I'm 34 years old. My dad went grey by 35ish. You know, I think he skipped grey and went straight to WHITE!

So! My hair is getting progressively greyer and greyer, though still well within the stopping point (maybe 10% pure white hairs 90% black/dark brown - I've never been able to tell which).

I have nothing against grey hair, I just have something against it before I turn 40.

So! What's a good product that I can apply myself that will cut back on the grey without changing anything else? My stylist doesn't think I need to do anything that would require her attention, so I'm on my own.

Cost is not particularly important, but my hair not turning orange is.

Thoughts???

4. Amen!!!
Something for which I am eternally greatful.

Every stylist/barber I've ever gone to has said I'll never be bald.

THANK GOD!!

7. Mr. CottonBear will not be bald but does have grey.
He colors it with something from the drug store. I just ask him to not go too dark (the semi-Elvis look). He chooses a light to medium brown and it gradually grows out/ wears out. If it makes you feel better then color away! :)

3. Ahhh...just get some Clairol Nice N easy
that most closely matches your shade and color it yourself just before you get your hair cut...it rinses out and looks like a color found in nature and is easy to use...you just mix it...leave it on 25 minutes then rinse it out.

12. It really is easy and won't turn your hair orange :)
just watch about getting it on your skin and if you do, use cold cream like Pond's to get the stains off..when you rinse it out, don't rub it into your scalp..just stand under the water and rinse until the water comes back clear

5. Mine started at 19,
at 41 I am about half black and half gray on my head, and about 90% gray in facial hair.

I have never done anything about it. Just for Men, as seen on TV, may help.

6. Dude, the dye is worse for your hair.......
Hey I started going grey and white and silvery when I was about 18...

Never once affected me....

But then again I don't live in SoCal so I can see why you might want to avoid the Logan's Run thing.......

(If you don't know, a futuristic society where you were "released" on your 25th birthday)

8. LMAO
Logan's Run is a classic!

So my hair is "damaged"! Big deal! It grows so fast what's the worst that could happen?
