I don't have any medical info to give you, but I think having a counselor would be beneficial to deal with the long-term issues. Maybe he or she can help with observations of reports you've made over time.

 This may not be helpful, but I use to have panic attacks quite frequently and the internal mantra that helped me was "this will pass."

What are the long-term effects of the condition?

If a panic disorder is not effectively treated, a person may not be able to function at work or at home. This can have a negative effect on relationships, academics, and other important parts of a person's life.

What are the long-term effects of the condition?

Anxiety is often linked to depression and can cause problems in a person's work and social life. Unlike many other anxiety disorders, the symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder seem to lessen somewhat with age.

3. Murder/Suicide
One recent case of a soldier killing his family then himself. Another Fort Carson soldier killed himself. Can only speculate if it was one of these conditions, but that's what's happening.
