The Bradys verses the Partridges

I confess I hated the Brady's for the most part. Cindy and Bobby were annoying, Marcia and Greg were snobs, the parents were too icky sweet, the only ones I even half way liked were Alice, the dog, Peter and Jan, in that order.

Now the Partridges I loved. They had a guy I thought was cute when I was a pre-teen, David Cassidy. I wanted to be Laurie plus she was a brunette so I could relate to her, I loved Shirley Jone's singing voice and always thought she came across as more genuine than Carol, and I did find myself wishing she were my Mom, and I thought Ruben and Danny were funny. Hey I was about 8 years old. I also loved their music at that age.

Thought about this because I just saw a piece on Knight- Peter Brady all grown up on "The Insider," which I don't why I was watching to begin with tonight.
