3. I had something like that too last week. Feverish, chills, shaky...

I drank juice and took a nap. I felt better after a few hours. IT was AWFUL!

12. Yep, feel like a truck backed over me.

All my friends got bad colds, one has pneumonia but this is different. I almost wish the damned cold would come on and get it over with. Feel better.

15. at least this isn't my imagination..

Usually my temperature is one degree low. Today and yesterday it has stayed around 99 and 100 degrees. I am also having splitting headaches, strange burning sensations up and down my neck, a swollen throat, and dizzy spells just when I move suddenly. I haven't lost my appetite, don't feel like coughing, don't have a runny nose, but I do feel like the wind has been slammed out of me. Worst of all..my ears have been popping just like they do on airplanes.

Something weird is going around, but only time will tell. ;)

10. The last time that happened to me . . .

. . . I swear I had that fever that you can get from a mosquito (can't think of the name of it). I couldn't hardly sleep or anything for 4 or 5 days, but I didn't puke.

The weird thing was that I was sitting at my computer feeling fine. Then, as if someone flipped a switch, the next second I felt worse than I have ever felt in my life. It hit me so quickly and with full force. I just got up and fell in bed.

When I tried to sleep, it was like my mind was going a million miles an hour, as if I were a computer doing non-stop, huge mathematical calculations. It practically wore me out to try to sleep. I was freezing most of the time, also.

This happened during the summer, which is why I don't think it was the flu.

Glad you and hubby recovered.

have you eaten anything in the last few hours? Maybe your blood sugar is low. The symptoms you described "could" be hypoglycemia.
