The right side of my face is sun burnt

I was only outside for a few hours this morning and the sun was actually behind me the whole time. I didn't notice it until about 5pm today when my ear started itching and I went into the bathroom to see if I had a bug bite. No bug bite just redness on one side of my face, tan lines from my glasses and all. Tomorrow I won't forget the sunscreen! Damn my ear is all itchy and hot!

1. Awwww. Put some aloe vera on it.

I have VERY light skin, so I have to be religious about wearing sunblock 365 days a year. The advantage is, I look much, much younger than what I actually am. I always wear sleeves and hats when I am outside for an extended period of time. But I would not want to tan for anything. I like and embrace my porcelain skin:).

I peel like a son of a gun when I burn and I think I'd look pretty silly with peeling skin only on one side of my face

... and do the left side. Balance is important! You need that even-tanned look!

..... for it is said that s/he who has that even tanned look shall inherit the heavens! Be not deterred! The sun is your friend!

Ok, the fact is the sun is your friend for a while but if it hangs around too long it becomes your enemy. Still, I'd go for the even-tanned look :)
