I happened to go outside to see which way it was coming from. (Needed to know if I was about to lose the satellite feed!) It wasn't that bad, just a lot of booming.

24. Luckily I don't, but my poor hubby landscapes and has to
be physical in this sweltering heat. I stay on him, though, about resting in a cool place and drink PLENTY of water!

it's only supposed to be around 80 or so today. Cool for August.

Much cooler than it has been.

Of course, there's a chance of rain...but, considering the heat we've been having...a chance of rain is acceptable. :)

It hasn't rained in more than a week, and it's only been in the upper 70s the past few days. Funny thing is, the first 70 degree day in Spring is enough to make me put the air conditioners in the windows :) .

99. Brutally hot and humid.
We had soccer practice tonight, and I must have sweated off ten pounds. All the adults were about to faint. The kids, of course, ran wild and didn't even notice the heat.
