Best songs by Death Cab for Cutie?

Just heard a live version of "Lightness" and am completely knocked out.

1. The only song I like by them is "The New Year."

And, if we consider The Postal Service to be a Death Cab spin-off, "THe District Sleeps Alone" is a decent tune, if marred by a poor arrangement.

Usually, their singer's wimpitude gets on my nerves.

3. Company Calls/Company Calls Reprise

They're two separate tracks, but basically the same song.

Something about it really moves me.

I also like The New Year and Transatlanticism (although I have to say I didn't like the song Transatlanticism much until I saw them live on Coney Island with the Atlantic in the background).

They're a much better live band than their studio stuff. More emotional and more rockin'.
