Good vibes requested as my future is at stake

Sounds dramatic, but it's awfully important to me. I was terminated from my F-T job in April due to budget cuts and only have been working P-T since then, taking a month off that job for surgery and recuperation.

I just e-mailed my resume to an organization I've wanted to be a part of for so long because of the amazing and important work that they do. I had just been too comfortable at my other job to take the initiative.

Now, all doors are open, and I just believe this is the right place for me. I want it so bad that sustaining the hope almost outweighs the risk of rejection. But, I just took a deep breath and pressed the send button.

So pray, invoke the forces of nature, send good vibes, shake the chicken bones -- whatever you believe works -- I'll take it.
