...the "Ring 2" DVD? That little movie was better than the entire movie I'd watched before. For those of you who have seen "The Ring" the short film is about a group of high school students who have turned watching the deadly videotape into a kind of game. They each watch it and then keep a video diary of the following days trying to see who can get the closest to the fatal day seven without freaking out. When they've had enough they make a copy of the movie and have someone else in the group watch it, as this passes the curse on to that person who then repeats the process. It was really quite good.

I'm not going to say anything else about the feature movie but the short film was really good. I'd love to see it made into a feature lenght movie except they'd probably cast a lot of pretty young things and make it look like your typical Hollywood teen-scream flick. If they could resist that temptation I think they could do something really cool.
