THIS JUST IN: General Discussion-Politics Refused Fire Insurance

This afternoon DU moderators were refused fire insurance for General Discussion-Politics as forum members advocated both stooping to Karl Rove's level and not stooping. Inspectors refused to underwrite the forum while flames spread from thread to thread as "goodie-two-shooed moralists" and "no-better-than-them pragmatists" torched each other. By mid-afternoon EST rescue crews had extinguished many of the fires, leaving the forum a smodering pile of cat fights.
General Discussion-Politics is the second forum to be repeatedly denied insurance after last month's firebombing of the Science subforum by vigorous defenders of the Flancing-Derito effect and the subsequent Zippo-led response by defenders of the Brahe constant.
